One of my resolutions is about to come true again. I bought an easel and some art supplies. Let the painting begin. I want to paint a huge white tailed buck all alone in a snowy forest scene. It will be a majestic and powerful painting if I can direct my innermost spirit onto the canvas. I will share it with you when it is completed.

In response to your reply Shoshi. I was born 17 years before you. When I entered this realm my mother said I was a born dancer just like you. Also being from Jewish ancestory and having blue eyes and brown hair we have a lot in common. heh. And as for my painting talent, my uncle was also a wildlife painter. It’s in my genes or jeans whichever you prefer. MUAH back at yah!
So you must have learned from me somehow.

FYI, I am a Jewish convert. My heritage is Scottish/Polish on My Father’s side (His mom was pure Scots; his Dad, pure Pole) and Irish/German/Cherokee on my Mother’s side.
My son told me a funny expression that an Irish-German guy told him once…it goes like this:
“My German side tells me ‘work-work-work’ and my Irish side replies: ‘I’ll drink to that!’”
As for me, my German blood also tells me “work-work-work”; my Scottish blood wants tall mountain views with sheep in the pasture and every bread crumb put to good use; the Polish in me won’t let me stop PRAYING; the Irish says “Dance with Fairies and sing poems all day” while the Cherokee Princess in my veins shouts “walk on”!
Whew! It’s a tough balancing act and perhaps that’s why I was so drawn toward Judaism since my teen years? Could be that I felt a simplicity in following something so ancient and grounded? Or….maybe I have a great-great-great-great+ grandmother way back, who got a dose of Hebrew seeds? LOL!
One thing’s for certain, I have a Jewish soul and no matter how far and wide I stray, my heart will always cherish the Hebrew Bible and my lips will chant the prayers of Moses and the Psalms of King David!

My heritage is Irish Catholic on my mothers side. My dad’s side is Bohemian/Polish and Cherokee. My great great grandmother had an “intents” (intense) relationship with a Cherokee man. Also the Jewish blood in me dictates that I read scripture quite often. Some days I feel this overwhelming urge to grab the Good book and take off in the woods and only return after the sun has gone down. I love nature, dance, reading, painting, poetry, and life. It is hard to find me on a down day. But when I am down it lasts for days. Luckily I am up much more than down. UP – Down

Holly shit, I’m the same as your mother, German, Irish, and Cherokee Indian!!! Do you wan’t me to give up? You have many friends, I cannot compete at all!!! My emotions were nuked a few years ago.
